Jungdo Kim
Director
Over the past 14 years, Jungdo Kim has focused on developing and institutionalizing environmental policies through field-based work. His core areas of engagement include the phase-out of coal-fired power generation, renewable energy transitions, the promotion of a circular economy, and the protection of terrestrial and marine ecosystems.
Through this work, he has come to understand the climate crisis as fundamentally a human rights crisis, and believes that resilient, community-rooted democratic practices can offer meaningful alternatives. He is committed to advancing practical approaches that bring together climate justice, human rights, and democracy.
